Citing and the Internet

1. Based upon your reading on plagiarism, why do you think we need to cite our sources?

Citing our sources properly helps prevent plagiarism, which is a type of fraud and can have serious consequences.

2.
Does the Internet blur the lines of legally owned? Consider sites like YouTube and Wikipedia.

I think that the Internet does blur the lines of "legally owned", especially with some of the activity sites and informational sites like YouTube and Wikipedia. Both are great candidates. With Wikipedia anyone person can go on there and change any information whether it be fact or not. With YouTube, it has so many of the same things but from different people. you can make your own videos and what not on YouTube with any picture from another site and put music on the video or simply copy a video that someone has already made.
